Room Reservations
Located on the second floor of the Nitery, the Markaz offers community space to Stanford students, Monday - Sunday from 9 AM - 10 PM. Individuals and organizations affiliated with Stanford can also reserve the Markaz for private meetings and events. Below you will find information about each of our rooms, our availability calendar, and the reservation form to make a request for Rooms 207, 210, and/or 211.

The center has three spaces for student-initiated programs: The Community Room, The Lounge, and The Meeting Room.
Room 207- The Community Room
Community Room
- Two couches and flexible seating that can be rearranged
- White board
- Students can book the space from 9am-6pm and MVSOs are able to book after hours from 6pm-10pm
- To become an MVSO and gain access to priority reservation, a VSO must participate in our annual Markaz x VSO Cohort Program. All VSOs can apply to participate in Fall Quarter.

Room 210- The Lounge
Open lounge area
- Buffet Style cabinet, great for food service
- Large sectional couch can be rearranged.
- We recommend you also book Conference Room 209 on 25live to to decrease interruptions (foot traffic, sound, or otherwise.)

Room 211 - The Meeting Room
A meeting & study room
- Couches to accommodate group meetings
- TV screen
- Computer cluster & printer

Room Reservation Form
- Check the Availability Calendar (above) to gauge room availability,
- Fill out the Room Reservation Form to request a room,
- After submitting a request, your event will automatically populate on the availability calendar to hold the desired time.
- However, the room reservation will still go through an approval process by Markaz Staff. Event will be listed as "Needs Review" on calendar.
- Within 1-2 business days, you will receive e-mail follow up. Once your request is confirmed, your event will be marked as "Approved" on the calendar.
- Reservation is not finalized until it is marked "Approved" on the calendar.
