ORSL-Markaz Fellowship

OVERVIEW

The purpose of the fellowship is to support ORSL’s programming for Muslim student communities. The ORSL-Markaz fellow will work closely with Dr. Amina Darwish, Associate Dean for Religious Life & Advisor for Muslim Life, and serve as the student liaison between Markaz and ORSL.

The fellowship has three interrelated components:

  1. Programming: Help ORSL with logistics for Ramadan, Eid, halaqa, and other relevant programs. Solicit student feedback and ideas for current and potential new programs.

  2. Outreach: Publicize events on social media, listservs, etc., and conduct outreach to maximize audience interest and event visibility. Write brief post-event reports for publication in newsletters.
