Abdul-Qawiy Abdul-Karim

Abdul-Qawiy (Cow-Wee) Abdul-Karim is a master facilitator, curriculum writer, program developer and manager.  Since 2014 he has served as a Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) consultant, coaching values centered organizations to create more just and equitable professional spaces. 

Early in his career Abdul-Qawiy served as a middle and high school teacher in NYC and a lecturer at several colleges. He has served as a Director of several community based non-profit organizations focusing on education and community development. 

Abdul-Qawiy earned his Master’s in Public Administration, undergraduate degrees in Economics and Sociology and is a 2016 National Urban Fellow. The son of a carpenter, he loves DIY projects with his wife and takes pride in building solutions and strong teams.
