Ameera Eshtewi

Ameera is a sophomore from Portland, OR studying Computer Science, specifically exploring the intersection between AI and neuroscience. She’s also interested in pursuing a minor in philosophy or creative writing, spending her hours away from code contemplating Nietzsche and Al-Ghazali under the warm lights of Tanner Library, or writing poetry beside the still pond and verdant evergreens and blossoms of Kingscote Gardens. Beyond the Markaz, Ameera is the Public Relations Director for the Muslim Student Union and the Writing Director for MINT. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, photography, and practicing her Arabic calligraphy.
