Anti-Islamophobia Teaching Fellow
Yusuf Zahurullah
Yusuf Zahurullah is a fourth-year majoring in History with a concentration in American history. Last year, he served as the inaugural Abbasi-Markaz Fellow. This year, he will serve as the Anti-Islamophobia Teaching Fellow, a role in which he will work with Markaz staff to create a syllabus for and teach a 1-2 unit seminar through the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity titled "Interrogating Islamophobia." Yusuf loves exploring intellectual and spiritual history and tying it to the present day to be better Muslims and students. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and basketball with his friends, cooking, and going on walks and hikes.
