In partnership with Stanford Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), The Markaz will continue to offer a variety of mental health resources for students, including opportunities for individual and community healing, in our space. Please find the updated spring schedule below:
- Invidual Counseling Sessions with Dr. Rania Awaad from 4:00 to 6:30 PM in the Markaz wellness room (Room 202, Nitery). Interested students must sign up in advance through Dr. Awaad’s MeetMe scheduler.
- Women’s Reflection Group on Thursdays from 6:30 – 8:00 PM in the Markaz wellness room (Room 202, Nitery).

Afternoon Chai is The Markaz's weekly social hour! Join us every Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. for tea, sweets and conversation. All community members are welcomed.
Writing tutors from the Hume Center will be available at The Markaz on Wednesdays from 6 - 8 PM in our Turquoise Room. Get help with any writing assignment at any stage in the process!
